The anime club is one of the most overlooked, stereotypic clubs at KU. Like most batch when it came to the subject of anime I was extremely ignorant, I based my knowledge of anime on meaningless opinions of others. I was always told anime was cockamamie cartoons with animated characters. Knowing this I always viewed it as something I would and could never be elicit in. However, once submerged in the unique nicety o f the anime club I came to deduce and appreciate why the people in this club revel anime. This club meets every Tuesday and thorium from 6:30p.m. 10:00p.m. in 100 Smith. Anime, according to Jen the chair of the anime club, is its own genre. It is Japanese cartoon with meaning and heathenish aspects.
