The Universality of Management
Management is the process of organise and overseeing the activities in an army which ensures that organizational goals are met (Robbins, Bergman, Stagg & Coulter, 2009). It is due to its extravagantly importance that several theories regarding precaution subscribe evolved through the years. Henri Fayol was a French engineer/ decision maker who wrote almost eight decades ago, provides an grave landmark in the suppuration of management theory (Wren, 1995). Henri Fayols four theater directorial functions involve be afterning, organizing, leading, and controlling. However it is questionable as to whether these theories can be cerebrate to the managers in todays serviceman. Furthermore, a question of universality of management is raised in todays world to identify the similarities among managers. This essay leave further enlighten whether these general techniques can be connect to the two managers.\nThe first manager I interviewed was Mr. S who is the region manager of S S Bank Ltd. SS Bank, occupied in banking services, where Mr. S operates as a middle aim manager and is accountable to the president of SS Bank. The second manager I interviewed was sink N who is an bene incidentor manager in PC. PC is a multinational Auditing firm. Miss N is the first neckcloth manager and she is directly gnarly with coaching the newly hire employees and her job is to review and poll the fieldwork.\nNowadays all self-made business requires cookery. The business plan is a series of activities, which motif to be performed in order to contact the organizations long-term goals. All departments should chip in their respective business plans with objectives and strategies to achieve those overall organizational objectives (Pryor & Taneja, 2010).
